If you consider yourself ‘a child of the 60s’ then this is a must-have item. If you’re not, we’d still recommend this book just because of the extraordinary photograph it presents.
The book is an amazing collection of 22 postcard photos of some of the greatest icons of the 1960s music scene, taken by Baron Wolman.
Baron was the founding photographer of Rolling Stone magazine and so had intimate access to many/most (maybe even all) the big names of the era. As an accomplished photographer, he has brilliantly captured some of the crazy chaotic energy of those days, and shares 22 of his favorite images in this short book.
You can keep them in its book form or tear the postcards out and mail them (don’t ask me why you’d want to do that, though!).
Back when these pictures were taken, the mega-stars weren’t so insulated from official photographers by their pr handlers, and Baron has captured some amazing raw scenes that show stars such as Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, and on the list goes.
Many of the photos he took are also available on his two websites (here and here), and if you like this ‘taster’ you’ll surely find yourself unable to resist the allure of his other work.
Baron has personally autographed your copy of this book, adding to its collectible status.

To bid, please send us an email stating your opening bid (higher than the current bid shown above, of course) and the maximum bid you would be prepared to go up to.
If someone outbids you, we’ll counter on your behalf in increments of about 5% of the current amount bid, or $5, whichever is the lower, until such time as either you regain the upper hand or your maximum bid has been exceeded by the other bidder.
If your maximum bid is exceeded and you lose your winning bidder status, we’ll email you so you have a chance to respond further.
