It is common to see international business class sales over the Christmas period, a time when business travel drops way down, and airlines look to pick up some extra revenue from leisure travelers by selling massively discounted business class fares.
This year’s BA special is reasonably generous, particularly because the advertised price includes all fees and surcharges and taxes. A single payment of $2012 – US currency in the US and Canadian currency in Canada – gets you a roundtrip from any of BA’s US or Canadian gateway cities (24 in total so there’s probably one new you) to London, Manchester or Edinburgh.
Assuming seat availability, you can travel to Britain any time between 20 Dec and 5 Jan, and must return back home no later than 8 Jan. You could spend either Christmas or New Year or both in Britain, or add on a side-trip to Europe to take in a Christmas Markets or two as well.
One bonus feature is that British Airways’ unique JFK – London City Airport flights are also included in this special. I reviewed this service shortly after it first started (click link to read) and it really is the closest thing to flying a private executive jet you’ll ever experience, and for airline/airplane enthusiasts, it is an experience you really should enjoy on some occasion, with this being a heck of an opportunity to do so.
These special fares are only on offer through the end of Friday, so don’t delay if you want to take advantage of this deal. Full details on BA’s website.
