As you can see, Brenda (and her husband) enjoyed their Christmas cruise tremendously, back in 2009. Indeed, they enjoyed it so much, they are coming again this year. Why not join them and 35+ other Travel Insiders too, and share a similarly enjoyable experience this December.

As you can see, Brenda (and her husband) enjoyed their Christmas cruise tremendously, back in 2009. Indeed, they enjoyed it so much, they are coming again this year. Why not join them and 35+ other Travel Insiders too, and share a similarly enjoyable experience this December.

This is a quick note, out of the usual Friday schedule, to ensure you don’t miss out on this year’s wonderful Christmas Markets Cruise opportunity – our special 40% discount is due to expire on Sunday this week.

This year’s cruise promises to be even better than in past years.  Sure, we’ve got great dates (9-16 Dec) and are cruising in the ‘best’ direction along the Danube, and yes, we’ll see the usual special selection of wonderful Christmas Markets, gorgeous scenery, lovely small towns and impressive stately cities that make this such a wonderful experience.

But there’s more – much more.  I’m including a free side trip to glorious Salzburg on one of the days (a $100 value, yours for free) and while that’s not unique, I’ve arranged a special surprise bonus for our Salzburg tour this year that no-one else on the ship will get.

Talking about things no-one else on the ship will get, we also have our own private cocktail reception on board, and on one of our stops, I’ll take you to my favorite Christmas market in all of Europe – the other passengers don’t get to go to this market because, unlike most markets, they charge an admission fee and the cruise line wishes to avoid that.   I’ll both take you to this gem of a market, and I’ll pay your admission fee, too.

In addition, we not only have the extraordinary value presented by our special Travel Insider 40% discount, we are on an almost brand new ‘super ship’ – larger and roomier than any of the previous ships we’ve had.  A better ship at a bargain price – that’s a great deal.

Oh – there’s more.  We have a new approach to the very popular Prague add-on.  This year we will enjoy time in a lovely and brilliantly central small hotel, located in a historic courtyard dating to 1689, and will have a wonderful celebratory dinner in a cellar restaurant complete with large steins of foamy Czech beer (or wine/soft drinks if you prefer), great traditional food, and a live gypsy band.

One of the markets in the evening

At a Christmas market in the evening; I’m enjoying a souvenir mug full of Gluhwein.

At the end of our Prague extension, we’ll take a morning train to Bratislava – much more comfortable than traveling by coach.  In Bratislava we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of the central city, have time for lunch, then transfer the short remaining distance in our own private coach to Budapest.

Best of all, we’ve a great group of fellow Travel Insiders this year.  Many are repeat participants on Travel Insider tours, and six are on their second Christmas cruise.

Already 38 people have taken advantage of this tremendous deal, and we’ve a few remaining cabins so you can join in too.

We have a photo diary of a previous Christmas tour here, a day by day itinerary here, and the main details and joining form here.

Please do come share this wonderful holiday-time experience, and please let us know this week before we lose the 40% special discount.
