The fourth part of my series on places to see in Australia is now available.
There is a paradox in this latest article. On the one hand, it purports to list destinations that occupy a fifth ranking in terms of the priorities you should assign to where to go and what to see in Australia.
But, on the other hand, the places listed in the fifth rank (termed the ‘E List’) are actually reasonably compelling and promise wonderful and distinctive Australian experiences.
Australia truly is full of an amazing variety of different places to visit, and the good news is whether you choose only from the A and B lists, or whether you reach down into the C, D and E lists of places to go, you’re sure to have a wonderful time, and will almost certainly choose to return at least one more time in the future to explore more of the items on these five lists, plus additional places you’ve uncovered on your own, too.
Also included are some places which we feel have undeservedly prominent reputations for being good places for tourists – places such as Surfer’s Paradise (pictured here) which we consider to be very similar to many other generic beach/resort type destinations around the world.
